A passenger Jeepney parked on a quiet street in the Philippines. Jeepneys are one of the distinct transportation in Filipino culture. It cost around minimum 25 cents (US) to your destination. It is the most common mode of public transport in the Philippines, adorned with colorful stickers and hand-painted artworks, an icon in Pinoy culture. Since the 1950s, Jeepneys have been used as a mode of transportation in the Philippines. Created from Jeeps left by the United States military stationed in the Philippines after World War II.
