Description
Here is a red/orange passenger Jeepney, one of the distinct transportation in Filipino culture. This one was located in the city of Olongopo Zambales. Jeepneys are the most common mode of public transport in the Philippines, adorned with colorful stickers and hand-painted artworks, an icon in Pinoy culture. Since the 1950s, Jeepneys have been used as a mode of transportation in the Philippines. Created from Jeeps left by the United States military stationed in the Philippines after World War II. Jeepneys also serve as a symbol of the Filipino spirit, embodying the values of community, resourcefulness, and unity.
