Description
Weathering and erosion shape these statuesque rock features. As water freezes and expands in the fractures of the rock, cracks and erosion carve out these unique statues. Bryce Canyon National Park, a sprawling reserve in southern Utah, is known for crimson-colored hoodoos, which are spire-shaped rock formations. Unique to this area, hiking among giant hoodoos along winding trails is an awe inspiring experience.
