Description

1976 Ford Gran Torino. One of only three left of the original Starsky and Hutch TV show. It has a 460 engine and C6 transmission. This fully frame off restoration with original interior, was used in a 2014 SURCON show with Paul Michael Glasser and Davis Soul. It was used through the 2nd,3rd,and 4th seasons. The Torino was nicknamed the "Striped Tomato" by Hutch in the episode "Snowstorm", and fans subsequently referred to the car by that nickname. Starsky & Hutch is an American action television series from 1975 to 1979. The series' leading characters were two Southern California police detectives, David Michael Starsky (Paul Michael Glaser) and Kenneth Richard "Hutch" Hutchinson (David Soul). This car was at Dead Mans Curve show in Mahwah NJ, and owned by Steven Bordi of NJ.
